January 20 evening news,Automatic door, Ericsson (microblogging) announced late today , Ericsson and ZTE (microblogging) reached a settlement on patent licensing , the two sides to remove all legal proceedings , ZTE signed the patent by the right to receive part of the Ericsson patent license agreement .
Ericsson tonight announced the signing of a full- cones cross- license agreement , and agreed to withdraw all legal proceedings . ZTE signed the patent cross- license agreement were fair , reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) patent the principle of compensation , will be part of Ericsson's patent portfolio license .
Earlier, in April 2011 , Ericsson in Germany, Britain and Italy filed a lawsuit alleging violations of Ericsson, ZTE's GSM and 3G/UMTS wireless technology patents .
It is understood that Ericsson currently has 27 000 patents , multiple vendors have been signed with all cones more than 90 patent license agreement.
yesterday evening , ZTE announced that , with Ericsson has a patent litigation matters involving the full communication and consultation , and both parties have mutually agreed to withdraw all for each other's patent infringement lawsuit including Ericsson in the UK, Germany and Italy on the ZTE filed a patent infringement lawsuit , and ZTE in China Ericsson 's patent infringement litigation.
